Assessment & Understanding

We use research-based assessments such as VB-MAPP, AFLS, and EFL to understand communication, learning readiness, and functional life skills. These tools help guide programming and ensure services are individualized.

Personalized Support Plan

Our team develops a plan focused on meaningful skill development, independence, and practical strategies that work within real-life routines at home, school, or in the community

Ongoing Support & Collaboration

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ABA and how can it benefit my learner?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research-based approach that helps individuals build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors. By understanding the why behind behavior, we teach communication, independence, and social skills in real-life settings—so progress carries over into everyday life.

Do you offer in-home or clinic-based services?

We currently provide in-home ABA services, allowing us to target real-life routines, build functional skills, and support meaningful generalization. We also collaborate with schools and community settings to ensure consistency across environments.

Do you accept insurance or offer private pay options?

We currently accept BCBS and offer flexible self-pay packages. We’re happy to walk you through your options and help you determine the best fit for your family.

What ages do you serve?

We are accepting pre-school aged, school-aged, transition-aged, and adults. Being able to support individuals accross the lifespan is a core value at Journey.

How do you support transition and adult clients?

We support transition-age and adult clients by focusing on functional, real-life skills that promote independence and quality of life. This includes daily living skills, communication, community participation, and vocational readiness. Our approach is individualized and takes place in the environments where these skills are actually used—home, work, and community.
